On September 2nd, 2022, Old Man Gloom was burnt to ash again in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This marked the 98th year of Will Shuster’s Burning of Zozobra tradition.
Zozobra’s 2022 design was influenced by the 90’s as part of the event’s “Decades Project.” Unique 90’s Americana details include a pocket chain, sleeve tattoos, hair highlights, and suspenders.
A portion of the proceeds from sales of Zozobra 2022 #1 go to Kiwanis International (501 (c)(3)), Santa Fe.
